Dear Friends,
This Thanksgiving, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible year we've had. While it may seem cliché to list what we're grateful for, we feel deeply called to express just how profoundly blessed we are. This really has been an incredible year of God’s blessings, bounty and challenges for us, and an abundance of love and support — more than we could ever deserve.
We are thankful for the process
This time last year we were deep into year two of the demolition, remodel and branding of our beloved Turf Club. With no real time line for opening we found ourselves riding the highs and lows of the journey — some days we needed to be talked off the ledge and others pulled out of cloud nine back to reality. We had to fully trust in the process, and believe in the people helping us to make our dream a reality. Through it all, we were humbled by the people who gave their time, energy, and talent to help make our dream a reality. Your encouragement, patience, and belief in us carried us through. We can never thank you enough.
We are thankful for our health and our family
Last year also brought unexpected health challenges that tested our resilience. As you can imagine, that added a layer of stress and anxiety to an already full plate, but in many ways, the Turf Club became a welcome distraction from the pain. We have crossed that bridge, and with the love and support of our amazing family, friends and guidance of great doctors we are on the road to recovery. God is once again so merciful and so good!
We are thankful for new relationships
As we reviewed our mission statement, we were reminded of the heart of why we opened the Turf Club. This is it is more than just a great restaurant — it’s a place to create meaningful connections. We want the opportunity to change the lives of others, and in turn it is changing our lives.
Our mission to foster a “Culture of Hospitality” means creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors — from our guests, employees, and the broader community.
Already we’ve built amazing friendships with so many people that grace us with their presence when they come through our doors. We appreciate those of you who have given us advice, encouragement, and kindness without any expectation of reciprocity. Thank you for having our backs and wanting us to be successful. We don’t take your support for granted, and we’re honored to serve you.
Our mission also calls us to celebrate the act of gathering. “The Turf Club is more than just a restaurant — it's a place where people can come together, connect, and create memories over delicious food and drinks.” Seeing so many of you celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and countless other special occasions here fills our hearts with joy. When you’re with us, it feels like welcoming family back home. Thank you for being a part of our extended family.
It has become a personal passion for us both to gather, foster and support our incredibly hardworking and devoted team of employees. Simply put, this place would not be what it is without them. We are so proud to work alongside them every day.
We are thankful for our community, our state, our country and our freedoms
We are incredibly proud to call Twin Falls our home. The Magic Valley is rich in natural beauty, talent, and resources, which is why we work closely with our local farmers, growers, and artisans who make it such a remarkable place. By sourcing locally and working closely with our community, we’re able to offer you the highest quality ingredients across our menu.
To our customers, employees, and community: thank you for being part of this extraordinary journey. As we look to the year ahead, we are filled with hope, excitement, and a deep gratitude for each and every one of you.
With hearts full of thanks,
Mariann and Robert Griffith
